Kiehl’s Rare-Earth Facial Cleansing Masque

I have a little secret. My skin is mostly clear because of this product. I’m a huge fan of Kiehl’s, and have loads of their products.. This masque is fantastic. It’s got Bentonite, Kaolin and Lecithin. Bentonite and Kaolin are clays that absorb oil and lifts off dead skin cells to clear the skin and cut off surface skin oil and grime. I usually slather a thick layer on after scrubbing my skin clean, and leave it to dry and suck out the grime and dirt. I like letting it dry, but wash it off before it totally dries and sinks in – if you do, you’re gonna get fine lines and it’ll suck moisture out of your skin! This leaves my skin clean, and not tight… A definite plus!

When I saw this bag on my favourite bagsnob site, I just couldn’t NOT blog about this bag. Yes, it’s round, and it’s got the distressed leather with the whole stud-sy thing going on again. The black one looks half-decent, and the green looks so blah, no one would give a hoot about this. I doubt the success of this bag, and secretly, I’m hoping that it won’t be..can you imagine the crazy amounts of fakes/imitations there would be?! This bag looks almost annoying, but still feels a little interesting. Round bags are like totally useless, no? How on earth would you be able to find things in this round bag? Every damn thing is gonna fall to the bottom of it, and it’ll sag…and we all know how Balenciagas are with sagging. Fine. Kudos to the new take on the shape, but there’s still loads for improvement in the design department.

Epicuren Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe Vera gel is a super gel. I read in a magazine that make up artists use this on celebrities including Jessica Simpson, Jessica Alba, and other major celebs before applying their make up. I chanced upon this while going for an MRI scan the other day. This gel is 100% aloe vera, infused with asymmetric oxygen. It helps with sunburnt, irritated, chapped, and inflammed skin. I used this on my problematic skin, and although sticky at first, it absorbs quickly and leaves no residue at all. I use this before my serum, and my skin is thanking me for it. Breakouts seem to calm down quicker than usual, and my sun abused skin seems more hydrated and feels healthier. You can use this for the whole body..the bottle I bought comes with a pump, and it’s huge, so you can use it all over. It doesn’t have any fragrance or any of those minerals in it, so even those with the most sensitive of skins can use it.
